PTA Updates

The Parents & Teachers Association

The Parents Association was set up in 2003 with the main aim of parents and teachers working together for the benefit of the children and the school.

The PTA does an excellent job within the school raising funds, organising wonderfully fun events, like the Christmas and Summer Fayres, and even maintaining the flower beds. Just in the last year through all our endeavours we have been able to buy two class sets of netbooks as well as paying for Theatre Workshops and Performances to come into school.

As an aside, as a parent it’s a good opportunity to get more involved in your child’s school and meet some new people at the same time. Please feel free to turn up to one of the (very informal) meetings or let us know if you are able to help in any way. We are often milling around the playground at the end of the day.

Everybody is welcome to come along to our meetings which are normally held once a term at the Grasshopper pub.

Do you have any fundraising ideas or suggestions? Or if you have any queries, please pop a note into the school office.
